I just want to share with you something about myself, what I read and the reasons behind starting this blog.
I began this blog because I love books and I love to talk about them. Some of my favorite genres include Christian Fiction, Historical Fiction, Fantasy, and Suspense/Horror. I haven’t read much dystopian other than the Hunger Games but I would love to start reading more dystopian novels.
I have a very eclectic collection of books on my bookshelf (you can click on the page above for a picture tour of my shelf) because I don’t buy books new….ever. I have never in my life bought a new book. Any books I own have either been bought used or were given to me as a gift or after someone else has read it. The main reason for this is that I can’t afford to buy new books so I just have to wait until I spot them used or get them from the library. I am a very avid library goer, by the way!
I rate my books on a 5 star scale with 1 star being “I absolutely hated it”, 2 stars being “not a fan”, 3 stars being “I liked it”, 4 stars being “it was really good”, and 5 stars being “I loved it!”.
A little bit about myself is that I am a full-time college student and I am studying to be an elementary school teacher. I like a good cup of coffee (pumpkin pie lattes are the best!!) when I am reading and rainy day reading is the perfect day in my opinion. One of my favorite books of all time is Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers and my favorite series is The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis.
Thanks for stopping by,
